With your Association membership comes a $1 million Educators Employment Liability (EEL) insurance policy which protects you against civil proceedings brought against you in job-related matters.
Eligible members can take advantage of coverage issued by The Prudential Insurance Company of America (Prudential), fully paid for by the NEA Members Insurance Trust. It's a great way to supplement your school district's coverage.
For the first 12 months of membership, eligible NEW members are provided $15,000 of term life insurance, at no cost. After that, you can continue your coverage at a discounted rate all the way to retirement.
